Biography

Dr. Hanli Wu is a Research Associate and Lecturer at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T). He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees at Hunan University in China. In January 2018, he joined the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at Missouri S&T, advised by Drs. Jenny Liu and Xiong Zhang. He earned his Ph.D. degree at Missouri S&T in July 2022. His research focused on using cellular concrete as an alternative material to develop a cost-effective and high-performance air convection embankment (ACE) to protect permafrost foundations in cold regions.
